From the Desk of Fire Chief Mike Krause
Dear Residents –
The annual Metro West Safety Day even is an opportunity for our members to engage our community outside of emergency calls. These interactions are designed to leave families better prepared to handle an emergency or medical event. I personally look forward to the day as it gives me an opportunity to speak directly to the community and share all of the outstanding facets of this organization for which an am so intensely proud.
This year, the Metro West Safety Day will be moving to a virtual platform due to restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know, despite our inability to gather in person, the Metro West Fire Protection District remains committed to your family. As such, we have adapted this year’s Metro West Safety Day to a virtual platform. This will include both recorded and live video presentations designed to continue sharing important life safety and health messages.
I hope you will join us for this year’s virtual Metro West Safety Day. Providing for our community remains a top priority as we work to find creative solutions during this pandemic.
Respectfully,
G. Michael Krause III
Chief of Fire and EMS Services
